The Special Mediation Boards were designed and developed to provide access to justice for specialized types of disputes relating to Social and Economic and to enable the resolution of disputes between private parties as well as between private parties and the State. The Special Mediation Boards were established under the Mediation Special Categories of Disputes Act No. 21 of 2003.
